Deanna Drew makes sure that during her initial consultation she listens to what the client or clients want or need. Whether it is a studio apartment or a large scaled home, Deanna makes sure that the needs and lifestyle come together. Her clients are happy that she understands the fact that the finished product embraces the lifestyle that the client is in. During this time a comfortable connection between all is formed.

Ideation

Many thoughts come into play during designing a space such as functionality, comfort and requirements. The clients needs and wants are taken into consideration such as children, pets, lifestyle restrictions and entertaining. Layouts for the rooms are put together for the client to make selections from. Deanna has learned that too many selections and options at one visit can overwhelm a client so she makes the process simple, fun and an easy process for a client to make a decision. No one should want to jump off the bridge!

Development

The thought process and room selections come to life during the construction stage. The designer works with your existing contractor or sets the client up with one that the client feels the most comfortable with.

During construction the designer makes sure that all aspects of the work is being done according to design. She will make periodic visits to the job site and have meetings with the client, contractor, and sub-contractors to make sure everything is in accordance. Patience is free and progress is key!

Installation

After the completion of the construction aspect of a room or rooms the finishing touches are applied such as furniture, window coverings, art and accessories. This is when all the final details come together for completion. This is where the designer looks forward to taking a few days off when the job is complete!

Final Walkthrough

This final stage is where the designer and client walk through everything together to make sure that it all meets their desires and expectations.

This is when the client can lie back, put their feet up, breathe, take it all in and have a sad farewell because their friend is leaving…. I will be back as I am now part of your home and your family!
